at Friesensee

Dogs are not only allowed at Friesensee Camping & Holiday Park – they are warmly welcome! Whether on the caravan pitches, in our cozy holiday apartments, or in our stylish lake lodges “Meeresrauschen” and “Blaue Boje”, a holiday with your dog is completely relaxed and enjoyable. To ensure all our guests – with or without dogs – feel comfortable, respectful interaction is especially important to us. Right on the site, you’ll find a dedicated natural dog beach area (approx. 10 x 7.5 m), about 500 meters from the lake promenade and around 250 meters from the lake lodges. There is also a beautiful circular path around Friesensee – perfect for your daily walk with a view! At the dog beach and the meadow behind it, dogs are allowed to run and play freely under supervision – ideal for playing, splashing, and burning off energy!
Special Service:

After playing in the sand or taking a dip in the lake, you can easily clean your furry friend – there’s an outdoor dog shower at Sani I (wash and rinse area)!

To ensure plenty of exercise and fun, we have set up a spacious fenced off-leash area at the back of our campsite. The dog beach allows a refreshing swim, and the quick dog shower is available for free at a simple outdoor tap next to our sanitary building 1. Take a look at our site map for an overview.

Important Information
for a Pleasant Stay

  • Maximum of two dogs per pitch – please register your dogs when booking.
  • Leash required throughout the campsite – out of consideration for other guests, animals, and children, please always comply.
  • Please ensure your dog does not wander between pitches or relieve itself on or directly next to the pitches. Please use the circular path or our designated dog areas.
  • Dog waste bag dispensers are available at several locations – please use them and dispose of waste properly.
  • For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed in the sanitary buildings or private bathrooms.
  • Consideration is key – please be friendly and respectful, especially towards those without dogs or who may be anxious around them.
